Students will propose one new idea to improve your business practices based on current trends in management.

Deliverables

The final project will include:

  • A written 1-2 page prospectus
  • A 20 minute presentation

You’ll receive a detailed implementation plan as a recorded presentation for future reference.

Your company will own all intellectual property associated with the assignment, and are able to implement this strategy following project completion.

Project Examples

Project ideas could include but are not limited to:

  • A proposal for a new market entry opportunity
  • A new strategy for increasing sales
  • A new human resource management practice to improve workplace cohesion
  • A new marketing technique using social media or popular culture
  • Any number of ideas to take advantage of any current trend in the business world

A group of 4 students will analyze your organization in areas such as:

  • Globalization
  • Gamification
  • Social media
  • Neuromarketing
  • ...and/or new business models.

Students will focus on the aspects of creativity, viability of idea, inclusion of course concepts, and firm reception.

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be able to provide students access to employees and company data (NDAs can be signed).

Be able to provide feedback to students during the assignment as needed and upon completion of the assignment.

Be able to gather a group of employees to watch the students' presentation and ask questions.

Be responsive to periodic emails from the students to answer any questions they have.
