Details

Our students are available for assisting to solve any business problem (internal or external) related to Transportation &/or Freight Logistics.

Our students offer recommendations for transportation needs or freight logistics and/or operations or any other related challenge your company may be experiencing or other business improvement outcomes. This course is focused on developing students' understanding of transportation & freight logistics requirements and operations. The course is a popular elective and thus we have students from many disciplines enrolled bringing with them a variety of talents and interests from The Business School of RMIT University. Our campus is based in Vietnam and we are looking forward to working with you online. We will provide a final report for you to use as building your own positive outcome for your project.

Deliverables

Generally, our projects are in the form of a written report. This includes a typical business-style report including an Executive Summary, Introduction/Background, Analysis, Findings, Recommendations, Conclusion, References/Appendix.

This would be shared with the industry partner at the end of the semester.

Project Examples

The students of Transportation & Freight Logistics worked on a research essay and a group report comparing seaports or land transportation between two nations. The students provide a written report and presentation offering recommendations to improve the operations based on thorough research.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide overall constructive feedback to the students if contact is established between the company and particular groups of students.

Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or video calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.

Be available for a quick video call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.
