Working in small groups, students from the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Yorkville University will tackle a problem of your choice and develop possible solutions to overcome these challenges. Students will select the best solution, create a work plan, apply primary and secondary research methods; structure an argument logically and persuasively; customize a message for multiple audiences; and evaluate the findings to provide your organization with final recommendations that help you implement change successfully within your organization.

Project Examples
Requirements
Based on the information you provide, students will develop a change management plan, which can include framework and structure to manage the change within your organization. Student teams will address the aspect(s) that are most critical to your organization today and provide innovative solutions to help you overcome these challenges.
Project examples include but are not limited to:
Assess the readiness of the organization for the change
- Catalysts for change - Summarize the change and identify why change is required in the organization.
- Resistance to Change - Identify the ways in which people resist change in organizations
- Change Agents - Identify change agents, the roles and responsibilities of various agents of change
- Recommend the sponsor and change agents in the organization who can influence the change.
Change Management Plan - Propose how to implement the change
- Identify action-planning skills to lead strategic change
- Specify the collaborative relationships that would be required during organizational change
- Identify organizational design/ organizational structure and relate the associated challenges
- Formulate the steps necessary to implement changes in an organization
Building mutual engagement/ Engaging in change
- Analyze the requirements for building coordination and teamwork in an organization
- Suggest a communications plan which will include identifying who should be communicating, how they should communicate and timing of the communication
Additional company criteria
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Attend the final presentations with the students and provide feedback.
Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.
Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.
