Deliverables

Students will share a completed project plan document (10+ pages), and you can provide guidance on the components most critical to your project. These plans typically include some or all of the following:

  • Project Kick-Off deck that can be presented to stakeholders
  • Scope Statement
  • Work Breakdown Structure
  • Budget
  • Schedule
  • Communications/Marketing Plan
  • Risk Management Plan
Project Examples

Students will be designing professional project management templates that you can re-use for future projects. Students will work with you to understand your project goals and constraints, and will apply project management theory to develop a detailed action plan.

Project examples include, but are not limited to:

  • A plan for a new product launch
  • A plan for a new service launch
  • A plan for a client or employee event
  • A plan for software or system implementation
  • A plan for the release of a new pricing model
  • A plan for a new employee rewards and recognition program

Please note: While this isn’t expected, if the project aligns to students’ skills and interests, they may be able to execute some project tasks.
