human resources community development competitive analysis marketing strategy researchThe Workplace and Wellness Health Promotion program, facilitated by Centennial College's School of Community and Health Studies, is one of the first graduate certificate programs of its kind in Canada. As such, it enjoys a respected national and international reputation and is recognized by leading employers.
The Workplace and Wellness Health Promotion program will prepare students to promote the total well-being of individuals and groups within corporate and community contexts. If you have a health and wellness related project, bring on one or more students to be your virtual interns for 14 weeks to help.
Students are available for 420 hours of placement over 14 weeks, beginning January 2023. The placements are on an unpaid basis.

Project Examples
- Investigate health and wellness sales and marketing (such as social media and email) strategies for key organizational stakeholders
- Plan, implement and evaluate a wide variety of programs, such as corporate wellness initiatives
- Apply research design and methods to workplace wellness and health promotion projects
- Share best practices regarding data analytics in terms of visualizations, concepts, and privacy
- Organize information by the use of consulting tools like operating plans, logic models, and the business case itself
- Develop health education for communities
- Discuss key goals and practice principles associated with health policy
- Design and execute an effective survey
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
A representative of the company will be available to answer questions from students in a timely manner for the duration of the project.
A representative of the company will be available for a pre-selection discussion with the administrator of the internship program to review the project scope.
