Details

As part of George Brown College's Strategic Relationship Marketing Graduate Program, students are required to develop a Strategic Database Marketing plan for a company.

Your agreement to participate in this project as the client will give you the benefit of a free business analysis and database marketing plan. Specifically, the students will recommend strategies and tactics to increase your customer revenue and profit by leveraging your customer data. I will be serving as the students’ coach throughout the project to help ensure the plan is completed properly and meets your business objectives.

The class will be divided into teams who will each prepare a plan for your business. I will select the team with the best plan to present to you.

A minimal commitment of your time is required - only three virtual meetings (e.g. – Zoom) lasting approximately 30 minutes each.

A minimum of 1,000 customer records is required.

A detailed, fact-based, results-focused marketing plan and presentation.

Confidentiality

To ensure 100% confidentiality, I will work with you to disguise the data before releasing it to the students. In addition, all customer contact information will be excluded from the data (names, addresses, emails, phone numbers). Only a customer ID number or equivalent is required.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

If we provide signed confidentiality agreements, will you share customer transaction information EXCLUDING any customer contact information?

Will you provide a dedicated contact who is available to join three open forums to address students' questions?

Will you be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.
