Overview
Details

Students will analyze the privacy vulnerability of the dataset, and privacy threats caused by different machine learning models. Then, they will propose how to prevent attacks, and develop privacy-preserving data mining techniques to help companies solve problems.

Learner skills
Python, Statistical analysis, Business analytics, Data analytics
Deliverables

Final project on privacy and security in real data mining problems.

Project Examples

Final project on privacy and security in real data mining problems, for example, 1. privacy legislation security and privacy threats caused by current data mining techniques; 2. attacks and prevention methods: web privacy attacks, data mining-based intrusion detection; 3. privacy-preserving machine learning
