Does your company have an idea or opportunity that a supply chain management student could work on? In this postgraduate program, students will research, work with a contact in your company and provide recommendations. Students have a good understanding of the entire supply chain spectrum and will be able to provide a resource so your company can increase efficiency and supply chain value. All students and projects are supervised by the capstone academic faculty.

The students will deliver:

  • A 1 hour presentation including Q&A detailing the solution and research
  • A comprehensive report (20+ pages) including theory, research, analysis and recommendations
  • 2 brief updates on the project process

Project Examples

Requirements

Student projects can address a range of supply chain issues, including, but by no means limited to:

  • How can we enhance cost structures and improve supply chain value?
  • How can we properly manage our suppliers?
  • How can we improve production or service?
  • How can we be more responsive to customer demand?
  • Do our inventory levels accommodate our demand?
  • How can we introduce supply chain value streaming to improve efficiency?
  • How can we become more competitive?
  • How are we managing our materials and can we benefit from lean tools?

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
