Details

Our engineering industry experience placement/internship program can be tailored to suit the needs of industry and take many forms including:

  • This can be taken anytime of the year;
  • Can be full-time or part-time;
  • Can be paid or unpaid;
  • Minimum 50 days;
  • Unpaid internships can’t last longer than 60 days;
  • Paid internships can last up to 1 year;
  • Be engineering work and supervised by a certified engineer at your company.

If you are interested in our Engineering Placement/Internship Programs, please send over the Position Description/Job Description. We’ll advertise it to relevant cohorts of students. Students will submit the applications to us or directly to you, then you will notify us of the selected students. We will sign a Work-Integrated-Learning Agreement which covers insurance for students and protect your confidential data as well as IP. Then, students can start working for you.

Students can work on any realistic, challenging, yet achievable engineering problem.

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

A representative of the company will be available to answer questions from students in a timely manner for the duration of the project.

A representative of the company will be available for a pre-selection discussion with the administrator of the internship program to review the project scope.
