Overview
Details

Looking to elevate your business, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from the University of Sussex to be your student consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one project of your choosing over the four-week period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.

Students will be working flexible hours over a 4-week period, where student teams will learn how to listen to a clients’ business challenge, research and analyze the problem, then deliver their findings to the client in a fully supported setting.

Projects and orientation begin on February 14th and finish by March 11th.

Deliverables

Deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the partnership. However, these deliverables must be discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of the work period.

Typically, student teams are expected to present a short 10-minute business-style presentation (virtually) to their client, and provide any supplementary material specific to the project.

Project Examples

Students work in small groups with other finalist undergraduate and taught postgraduate students to research, analyze and recommend strategies for a business in line with a project brief. Potential topics might include:

  • Reviewing and recommending sustainability practices
  • Testing a product/service/website for usability and navigation
  • Helping businesses recover from the impact of COVID-19
  • Analyzing market trends and competitors
  • Investigating potential new products and services
