Learner goals and capabilities

Students from Adler University would be very excited to be your student-consultants in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main project over three-four weeks, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.

Students are working towards a Master's Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and often have backgrounds and/or education in various psychology contexts including leadership and human resources. In this course, they immerse themselves in the elements of leadership success, starting with the most important theories and models of the day such as authentic leadership, transformational leadership and situational leadership, and as well, are steeped in the history of leadership development over time. They apply these leadership ideas in the development of their own practices. They are interested in areas of organizational culture, employee engagement, team effectiveness and more.
