Project Examples
The graduate student will work, under the supervision of faculty, with a contact from your organization to gain a thorough understanding of the needs of your business and (if applicable) the competitive landscape of your industry.
As a participating organization, you’ll be asked to provide a particular question, topic, or challenge in areas related to operations and supply chain. The review and recommendations may encompass other areas as well, but the student will provide specific recommendations to address issues raised by you.
Topics or challenges could include, but are not limited to:
- How can we enhance our cost structure?
- How can we properly manage our suppliers?
- How can we improve our production or service processes and be more responsiveness to changes in demand?
- How can we introduce quality assurance into our internal processes?
- How to become more competitive among companies in the same industry?
- How to ensure supply chain resilience?
