Dr. Cankaya created a collaborative environment fostering open communication, teamwork, and mutual respect. Dr. Cankaya recognized my potential and provided ample opportunities for me to grow both academically and professionally. They encouraged me to explore new ideas, challenge existing assumptions, and provide valuable feedback that helped me refine my research skills. Additionally, Dr. Cankaya was highly responsive and maintained regular communication. This timely communication allowed me to make necessary adjustments and improvements to my work.

Ozlem's mentorship continues to be incredibly valuable to me as I develop my professional and creative skills. The type of experience I am gaining allows me to apply my education in new, exciting, and challenging ways. I am very grateful for the opportunities I've been presented.

Working on this project was a great experience, and the supervisor was very helpful. The supervisor was informative, and knowledgeable, and provided me with a great foundation to understand the research she is working on. The supervisor also supported my learning through allowing me to take on various roles and it helped me learn new research methods. There was great communication throughout the project and I always knew what was expected of me or if I had questions I could follow up with the supervisor. The supervisor would touch base with me frequently for us both to update each other and to allow time for question. The supervisor was supportive to work with, and it built my confidence, and my abilities in this area. I felt motivated and encouraged throughout this project.

There is always room for growth and development of skills. Expectations and communication were clear and straightforward.

Ozlem continues to be a great employer, mentor, and guide. As a design student, this has been a great opportunity to develop my skills in a multi-disciplinary environment.
