The main project is for a content writer and creator who can contribute to Spinning Forward's content by producing impactful and engaging stories that help our audience of aspiring 16 to 34 year-old online content creators in the Greater Toronto Area succeed. We are a local journalism company that covers issues important to 16 to 34 year old people of color who aspire to become content creators. We covers issues important to our audience in the real world like affordability, food insecurity, mental health and others as well as issues in the online world like comparison culture, burnout, financial inclusion and how to earn a living, online negative comments and many other topics. Additionally, a writer and content creator will be curious, have great research skills and want to improve ther storytelling and writing skills. They also have an interest in issues like social justice, equity and diversity and financial inclusion for underrepresented and marginalized communities. Web Designer with Front-End Development for local news website (Advance Ontario)
The objectives for student are to design and create 3 to 4 additional web pages for our website. Additionally, they may assist with writing or improving website copy text. They may be adding CSS, HTML and Java Script to make the web pages more functional. They may be asked to setup automations between various tools that work with out website. This project is more suitable to a Web Design with strong design skills who may have basic front-end development skills.
