Free Float Media Inc. curates narratives around the most pressing ESG news stories and enthusiastically shares them daily on our podcast, Business Pants. Free Float Analytics Inc. is on a mission to make markets more human. Our focus is understanding the people behind companies through data and narratives. We believe the market is a collection of people making decisions. Investors should measure those people first and the companies second. Investors haven’t had the tool to do that until now. Our product, Board Sabermetrics, is the industry’s leading analytics tool focused on people first: who makes decisions and how they perform.

Product Launch Strategy
We are gearing up to launch our proprietary data analytics tool, Board Sabermetrics. We need insights to help anticipate the ramp-up to commercialization and the best approach to go to market successfully with our new product. Initial questions to brainstorm include, but are not limited to: 1. What is the total market size for this opportunity? 2. How do we establish our brand: Build awareness, acquire customers, and defend any early success? 3. We've been warned that the retail subscription market is difficult to break into. What preparations, collabs, PR can we do and seek out in order to set ourselves up for a successful launch? Additionally, we'd like help creating content that's aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. This includes: Researching factors affecting the quality of digital content Recommending changes to existing digital content and designing new social media posts, stories, and emails Recommending and designing new digital content not already used by our company
Marketing Strategy Plan
We are looking for students to help us build a marketing strategy plan to grow and engage the audience of our content, including a daily podcast show. We’d like to know how we can maximize use of different channels and get recommendations to align our marketing messaging with the brand voice reflected in our show. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are: How do students currently perceive our brand and marketing, based on publicly available information about our company? What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we aren't currently using? As our main form of marketing, how can we better leverage our daily podcast show? One of our main goals in 2023 is to expand the reach of our podcast beyond the niche of institutional ESG investors to everyday investors or people with an interest in socially responsible investing. How can we address this goal through our marketing strategy? How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition?
Public Relations Strategy
We are looking for students to help us create a public relations strategy to grow and engage the users and customers of our proprietary ESG data, Board Sabermetrics. We are aware of the wide array of use cases for our data, especially to corroborate the hundreds of articles being written about ESG topics daily. However, we are experienced in marketing and public relations and feel this is our largest hurdle in making waves in the market. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are: How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition? One of our main goals in 2023 is to expand the reach of our podcast beyond the niche of institutional ESG investors to everyday investors or people with an interest in socially responsible investing. How can we address this goal through public relations?
Digital Content Creation
We would like students to help us create content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and yearly goals. Free Float Media (FFM) Inc. curates astute narratives around the most impactful Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) news and shares them on our daily podcast show, Business Pants. This production is currently the main form of marketing for our family of business entities. All Free Float entities share one mission: to make markets more human. Our focus is understanding the people behind public companies through data (Free Float Analytics Inc.) and narratives (FFM Inc.). Our ask is that you create digital content specific to FFM Inc. Our current audience is primarily (institutional) ESG investors. Our goal this year, however, is to expand our reach and engagement beyond this niche, reaching everyday folks interested in investing. Our hope is that the digital content you help us create, including video, social media, and other collateral, enables us to meet this goal.
