Alumni Journey Mapping

TRU graduates thousands of students a year. The main problem we are trying to solve is to improve our understanding of alumni experiences. We would like to understand our strengths and areas of improvement from a alumni perspective. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Conducting background research on alumni journey mapping, our services and communication tools Analyzing alumni responses from surveys and interviews. Defining the phases and touchpoints of the graduating process. Incorporating user actions, emotions, goals, and pain points in the alumni journey map. Proposing solutions to minimize pain points while meeting strategic objectives of alumni department. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Developing multiple alumni journey maps to account for different experiences and paths.

TRU Museum Exhibit Design

TRU is a storied institution with over 50 years of history through four different institutions. We would like to showcase the incredible people and 'things' that make TRU what it is today. Young Alumni Marketing

Our university graduates thousands of students a year. We would like to update our marketing as we want to engage our young alumni demographic in a meaningful way. Together with our marketing team, we would like students to design new promotional material for this demographic. Based on our insights and additional research, students will develop promotional marketing materials for our existing media and make recommendations on alternative media to consider. Tasks include: Familiarizing themselves with our target market, products and services. Researching the new alumni demographic that we would like to reach. Assessing our existing marketing strategy and efforts. Recommending marketing tactics to retain new/young alumni. Designing promotional material for various media. Making multiple versions of marketing materials and testing them for comparison. Recommending other demographics to consider in the future.

Animated Video Creation

TRU Alumni serves over 100,000 alumni throughout the world. Our job is to stay connected and build affinity through events and services. We want to explore new ways of sharing our services through social media. We would like to collaborate with students to create an animated video that explains our services. This video will be displayed on our website, shared by email and feature on our social media. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with TRU Alumni's target market, brand guidelines, and products and services. Developing a storyboard and animating scenes for the video. Selecting suitable background music. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Combining visual and auditory elements to create a finalized video. Recommending ideas for future marketing videos.
