Knowledge Bookstore is an independent Afrocentric bookstore located in Brampton Ontario that sells African Canadian, African American, Caribbean, and Children's books. We also offer Black dolls, greeting cards, DVDs, beauty products, and gift items not readily available in mainstream stores. Knowledge Bookstore is a community space as well as the go to source for parents, writers, poets, artists, and the Black community.

T-shirt Design
In this project, we aim to explore black culture, black history, and black love through the realm of T-shirt design as a form of wearable art that allows individuals to express their unique personalities, interests, and beliefs. The project will focus on creating a diverse collection of innovative T-shirt designs, that go beyond conventional imagery, typography, patterns, and slogans, turning each garment into a canvas for self-expression.
Card Deck Graphic Design
In this project, we aim to create impactful learning experiences about black culture and living a life filled inspiration and joy through the realm of innovative and magical card decks. The aim is to provide an easy, digestible, fun, and visually stimulating way for community members to consume information.
Financial Analysis for Knowledge Bookstore
The goal of this project is to set up QuickBooks Online for Knowledge Bookstore and create financial slide decks with a summary of historical and projected financials, key financial metrics, and an analysis of what needs improvement and suggestions for those improvements. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:- Setting up QuickBooks Online adding entries for 2022 and 2023 for Knowledge Bookstore.- Creating financial slide decks with a summary of historical and projected financials, key financial metrics, and an analysis of what needs improvement and suggestions for those improvements.- Analyzing the financials of Knowledge Bookstore to identify areas of improvement.- Researching and suggesting strategies for improvement.
