Yaw Prince Farms was recently formed as a partnership with local farms located in the Volta Region of Ghana, Africa. The Volta Region has some of the richest soil in the world without the need of fertilizer. In a quickly changing world where the world "Organic" is becoming untrustworthy we grow strictly organic rice and beans with a brand you can trust. Our products will be marketed in specific independent stores in the Untied States. Other produce will be marketed to local to buyers in Ghana. Both areas in the states and Ghana proceeds go back to supporting both communities through our non-profit organization.

Yaw Prince Farms LLC is seeking to optimize its supply chain for shipping agricultural products from Accra, Ghana to East Chicago, Indiana. The current challenge involves efficiently transporting a 12 x 12 x 12 inch box weighing approximately 30 lbs. The goal of this project is to analyze and improve the shipping process to reduce costs and transit time while maintaining product integrity. Learners will apply their knowledge of logistics and supply chain management to identify bottlenecks, evaluate shipping options, and propose solutions. This project will provide a practical opportunity to apply classroom theories to real-world international shipping scenarios, focusing on optimizing routes, understanding customs regulations, and assessing carrier options.
Optimizing Digital Marketing Strategies for Organic Products
Yaw Prince Farms LLC is seeking to enhance its digital marketing efforts to effectively promote its range of organic products. The project aims to identify the most effective digital platforms and strategies tailored to the organic product market. By analyzing current trends and consumer behavior, the project will provide insights into which social media platforms, search engines, and online marketplaces are most suitable for reaching the target audience. The goal is to develop a comprehensive digital marketing plan that leverages the unique selling points of Yaw Prince Farms' organic offerings. This project will enable learners to apply their knowledge of digital marketing principles, data analysis, and consumer behavior to real-world scenarios. The project will involve tasks such as market research, competitor analysis, and strategy development, all of which are closely related and manageable within the given timeframe.
Website Development
Yaw Prince Farms sells purely organic rice, beans, pepper, plantain and rotates produce with five other products depending on each harvest. This will be our first website and our first time selling online. We plan on showcasing our produce this upcoming September harvest making purchasing our products easy and simple for customers. to order and us to fulfil those orders. We would like to work with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. This can be achieved through common site building tools such as Wix, Webflow, and WordPress. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching different site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages. Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.
