Our organization is committed to serving our target population. However, we are currently facing funding challenges.We would like to collaborate with students to plan a fundraising event to help meet our goals.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals.Estimating and establishing the budget of the fundraising event.Creating a plan of action and a detailed breakdown of tasks for volunteers to complete at the event.Assisting in marketing and promoting our event.Bonus steps in the process would also include:Recommending improvements for future fundraising events.

Socail media marketing & Graphic design

Having designs and posts for our social media platforms to promote our services and our projects. Creating reels and videos as needed to get our message to the community we serve.

Creating graphic design assets

We're looking for a student to help us with the creation of new graphic design assets.This will include:Coming up with color themes and branding guides that align with and builds on our existing branding to promote our services Creating reels as a design via canva.Creating graphic design assets for our marketing materials and websites, such as {Social media posts, banners, flyers about our services, printed materials, illustration, reels, infographic}

Marketing Strategy Plan

We want students to help us build a marketing strategy plan to grow and engage our target market. We’d like to know how we can maximize use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging.The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:How do the public (customers) currently perceive our brand and marketing, based on publicly available information about our company?What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we are not currently using?What budget is appropriate for advertising, given our goals?How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition?What is the best marketing strategy to be put together for the upcoming 5 years to ensure Canada-wide reach? What are the recommendations to attract more people to use our services from specific communities? How can our marketing help reduce the stigma around mental health within immigrant communities?

Business Administration

The primary focus for the student will be: (Remove any that don't apply)Strategy - Develop an implementation plan for entering a new market; develop a go-to-market strategy; identify new funding and grant opportunities, write proposals.Operations - Recommend process improvements or redesign processes; develop improvements to supply chain processes; introduce quality assurance into our internal processes.Marketing - Complete a full customer, competitor, market, and environmental analysis; complete a marketing strategy review; design a new marketing strategy (product, place, price, and promotion); Sales - Design a new/improved prospecting process for our sales team; design a new/improved pricing or service structure.Talent - Design a new/improved recruitment process; develop a diversity and inclusion strategy; design a new/improved employee engagement program.

Digital Content Creation

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. ABRAR Trauma and Mental Health Services is a for-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable, trauma-informed, art-based, and culturally sensitive mental support for diverse newcomers and immigrant populations. Services are carried out through professionals with lived experiences who prioritize the creation of safe and comfortable environments. Non-Profit Grant Writing

We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that support our mission and vision statement.We believe this project will include:Assist with defining a company-identified community problem and defining the scope of a corresponding project.Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding.Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project.Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.Write business proposals & grants to apply for available funding.

Financial Business Plan

We are looking to launch a new business and would like to involve students in this exciting time as we work to develop a financial business plan. We can provide access to internal documentation and other information as needed as well as access to key contacts. Based on our unique goals and constraints, we would like students to develop a strong, competitive financial business plan, which we can present to investors.The plan should include:Sales forecastingExpense budgetIncome projections (conservative and aggressive)Assets and liabilitiesIncome & Expenses tracker tools Strategies to get more cash flow and income

Come up with a report based on the outreach/intake process about best practices & recommendations in outreach to newcomers & immigrants communities about mental health
