Description

H2-JTL Inc. develops the next generation electrolyser, JTL electrolyser for green H2 production in order to address climate change, which will be more commercially viable for energy transition from fossil fuels to renewables than current products. It will produce green H2 at higher pressure up to 200-300 bars without compression required for transport and storage, while the electrolysers currently on the market produce H2 primarily at pressure up to 10 bars. The JTL electrolyser will produce green H2 at lower cost than the current electrolysers resulting from its E-module novel design and simplified BOP. It will also be more responsive to renewable power and more suitable for both centralized and distributed H2 generation in comparison with electrolysers currently on the market.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:- Researching the current market for electrolysers and their customers.- Identifying the needs and challenges of electrolyser customers.- Analyzing customer feedback and reviews to identify burning issues.- Developing a survey to gather customer feedback on their needs and challenges.- Analyzing survey results to identify the most pressing issues and customer needs.- Developing a report to summarize the findings.

Throughout the duration of this project, I acquired several invaluable skills that have significantly enhanced my professional capabilities. One of the primary competencies I developed was learning how to effectively search for and evaluate suppliers. This involved a thorough assessment of potential suppliers to ensure their reliability and suitability for our needs, which is crucial for the success of any project involving procurement. Additionally, I honed my skills in conducting detailed cost analyses. This process was instrumental in understanding the financial implications of the project choices and ensuring that we maximized our budget efficiency. By breaking down the costs associated with different suppliers and project scenarios, I was able to contribute to more informed decision-making processes. Another significant aspect of this project was gaining insights into the promising field of green hydrogen. Through diligent research and information gathering, I learned about the potential impacts and benefits of green hydrogen technology. This knowledge not only broadened my understanding of renewable energy technologies but also highlighted the innovative approaches being undertaken in our industry.
