Paola Girotti founded Sugarmoon back in 2001 and she wanted to bring a fresh approach and natural solutions to the hair removal and beauty industry. She saw a niche in the market having a close up and personal view of sensitive skin and a lot of hair growth. It is her passion to help people and bring natural alternatives to the market. Sugarmoon’s product focus is the ultimate expression of our commitment to this process. We refuse to try to be everything to
everybody which means our products must be exceptional.
In 2018 Sugarmoon decided to make the leap into the franchise market and spent almost 2 years on that mission. Due to Covid, Sugarmoon has now had to pivot and shift almost all attention to selling products online with particular focus on the Take Home Sugaring Kit. One of the future missions of Sugarmoon is to expand online sales beyond our immediate area and client base - Number of employees

Product Launch Strategy
We want to expand our sales to new markets specifically on our Take Home Sugaring Kit. We need insights to help anticipate the ramp-up to commercialization and the best approach to go expand our market successfully with this top selling product. Initial questions to brainstorm include, but are not limited to: 1. Where in the world is the best place to launch for early success? We have already launched in Toronto, how much focus should remain here? What is the total market size for this opportunity? 2. Who are our closest competitors and how do we differentiate ourselves? 3. How do we establish our brand: Build awareness, acquire customers, and defend any early success? 4.What are our budgeting options for different markets? We are looking to gain alternative perspectives on potential marketing tactics and better understand the current competitive market.
