Creating a Finance Process
I would like to set up a Finance process and department for my small one-man INC and learn how to submit Corporate Income taxes for a small publishing business. I have a few year's worth of Business Taxes to resubmit to CRA.
Translate Handwritten Scores to Digital Scores - Phase 2
Phase 2 concentrates on the transcription & orchestration of Jack Millman's smallest Symphony, Fields of Eden, which has a 20-minute playing time.Number of Individual Positions Available: 1Naz Music Inc. is a Canadian Publishing-Label located in Vancouver BC, we specialize in publishing instrumental music of all genres for Distribution as well as placement as background Music in TV & Film.We have within our ranks, a 90-year Symphonic Composer who notates by hand – a very beautiful thing to see. However, industry evolved over the last 5-years and we now deliver music scores digitally for the most part. My Symphonic Composer has ten 3-4 Movement Scores to be transferred, and most are fully orchestrated, with 2 that still need to be orchestrated.The Student(s) awarded this project, would have full access to the Composer for consultation and we are willing to give credit on the published score, to the student (or group of students) who work on the transfer to digital.Naz Music is participating in various Funding Grants, so we are pleased to be able to offer a Stipend to the successful Student(s).

Number of individual positions available: 1Naz Music is currently seeking Students who are taking Music Business related courses, and interested in a Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Opportunity that focuses on the Production, Distribution and Marketing of Sound Recordings!This opportunity will immerse the Student in the new Digital Economy of the Music Industry – a landscape that has seen massive disruption followed by rapid evolutions over the last 4 years! With the ushering in of the Music Modernization Act (MMA), how we do business in North America has now been standardized – and we must adapt our internal processes and reimagine how we do business.Our Marketing WIL Opportunity will allow the student to design and implement SEO, PR and Social Media plans for Naz Music and it's Artists.

Naz Music is currently seeking Students who are taking UX/UI, Graphics Commuications and/or Digital Marketing related courses, and interested in a Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Opportunity that focuses on DISCO – an industry Licensing & Marketing Platform used to License Sound Recordings in TV & Film!This opportunity will immerse the Student in a niche Digital Marketing Platform commonly used in the Music Industry – a landscape that has seen massive disruption followed by rapid evolutions over the last 4 years! These platforms allow a Music Library (or Music Supervisor, or Music Creator) create and curate massive Licensing Libraries (cloud-based searchable databases) that serve TV, Film and Advertising Production Agencies.Our LEVEL-UP Opportunity will allow the student to help finalize the database, by assisting with Metadata input, and graphic Design tasks.
