Administrative Assistant

Vancouver based Natural health Product Company, is looking for an office Assistant. The candidate must have an aptitude to learn about Ayurvedic Medicine, Ayurvedic health care products and promote a great organization. Our typical customers are health food stores and natural health care practitioners. The part time job could lead to a full time position. Qualifications • Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking skills • Polished personal presentation is a must while attending marketing events • General computer skills including Word and Excel (Intermediate knowledge), Gmail & Internet. • Knowledge of QuickBooks is essential. • Punctual and reliable. Excellent English language skills. • Excellent written communication skills; legible, tidy handwriting • Minimum of 3 year experience as office manager or in sales. • Superb writing skills with strong spelling, grammar and proofreading skills. • Understands what it takes for a small, cohesive work team to succeed and is willing to participate enthusiastically • Lives a healthy lifestyle • Preference will be given to candidate with natural health and wellness industry experience. Responsibilities • Answer incoming sales calls, provide basic information on our products, and correctly capture the caller's contact information • Prepare invoices by ensuring billings are accurate • Prepare shipments for online orders and in house orders. Occasional lifting of heavy packages for shipment. • Maintaining and updating inventory database system and inventory count. • Provide product information to enquiries • Other accounting and administrative duties including receiving and directing phone calls and filing documents.
