Digital Marketing & Engagement Strategy

Greenway Chaplin Community Centre is a non profit organization located in a townhouse in Cambridge, Ontario. We offer recreation programs and services to neighbours and friends with a Community Development model. We engage and support our neighbourhood around the assets, goals and needs of our community. Our mission is to empower strong community. We collaborate with other neighbourhood organizations in Cambridge. For this project we are looking for a Digital Marketing Strategy that can be shared and adapted by two other neighbourhood organizations: Preston Heights Community Group and Silverheights Neighbourhood Association. Project Description Creating a 2022 Digital Marketing Strategy for GCCC, PHCG & SNA. We currently use our websites and social media to communicate with out communities, share resources, and to promote programs and fundraising campaigns. 1. Best practice research Highlight gaps in our social media engagement plans and identify areas for growth Set up a list of goals/suggestions for the organization to work towards throughout the year Set up a system for tracking stats and easily measure goals 2. Create a year social media content creation plan templates and a 1 year marketing plan for social media and digital engagement Help us increase our inclusivity and accessibility in our digital forms of engagement. This will include content ideas, templates and guideline that reflect our goals and mission and represents equity, inclusion and diversity. Create a content bank of programs, volunteer roles and community engagement projects that our organizations can utilize throughout the year. This may include social media templates (Testimonials, impact stories, storytelling) 3. Create a welcome package template for new community members and volunteers - adaptable for digital and in person types of volunteering and engagement. Participant Success This project will be completed virtually. It will require initiative, self motivation, creativity and comfortability researching and brainstorming ideas on your own to present to our team.
