Afri Future Tech Summit Fundraising Project

The main goal for the project is to secure grant funding and sponsorship for the Afri Future Tech Summit. This will involve several different steps for the team, including:- Researching potential grant opportunities and sponsorship programs.- Developing a compelling proposal outlining the summit's objectives, expected outcomes, and impact.- Identifying key stakeholders and potential sponsors to approach.- Creating a detailed budget and financial plan for the summit.- Crafting a strategic outreach and communication plan to engage potential funders and sponsors.

Digital Content Creation

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. Most of the content will be come from our recent Afri Future Tech Summit. The Afri Future Tech Summit is a unique platform that brings together Canadian and African tech ecosystems for mutual benefit. This year our event drew 178 attendees and advanced important discussions in the Canada-Africa tech space.We're an organization that is focused on bringing together diverse stakeholders for equitable exchange; we’re building shared value between Canadian and African stakeholders to achieve a more just and sustainable future.If you're passionate about exploring the exciting and impactful opportunities between Africa and Canada, then this is for you!Deliverables will include:A 6 month content calendar for social media A 6 month content calendar for newsletterA 6 month content calendar for our website (blog)2-3 social media posts/weekMonthly newsletterMonthly guest blog contributions

The main goal for this project is to setup successful Afrifursa in-person/hybrid and virtual events including our flagship Afrifursa Fintech Summit, smaller virtual seminars and trade missions.The Afrifursa Fintech Summit is a unique platform that brings together Canadian and African fintech ecosystems for mutual benefit. This year (2022) our virtual event drew over 500 attendees from over 40 countries; for our next summit we will be hosting a hybrid experience.We're an organization that is focused on bringing together diverse stakeholders for equitable exchange; we’re building shared value between Canadian and African stakeholders to achieve a more just and sustainable future.If you're passionate about exploring the exciting and impactful opportunities between Africa and Canada, then this is for you!
