Building Bereavement Mosaic App
Students would create a user experience and interface designs, integrating these designs to create the prototype of the bereavement application. The deliverable will be determined between your organization and the students, with faculty input, and will vary depending on the project chosen.
Organization Project Plan - Accreditation Plan
Working with the Executive team and Hospice Palliative Care Ontario Accreditation standards, provide an organized template on the final steps we need to take toward accreditation. The Executive and Board will implement the project plan over the next 18 months. Phase 1 Project Plan: Students will meet with organization representative(s) to understand the project scope and prepare a detailed plan for completion of the project. Phase 2 Project Execution: Students will work on deliverables outlined in the project plan. Teams will periodically communicate with organization representative(s) as needed to complete project tasks. Phase 3 - Outcome - Report and Presentation: Students will submit a written project plan. Teams will also formally present their plan in class, which you are invited to attend (virtually or in person).
Project Planning - New Residential Hospice Build
We require a project plan to help guide the local and provincial planning steps necessary to be "shovel ready" in the next 3-4 years. Inclusion of provincial approval processes, capital campaign development and financial impacts are needed. This work will be presented in a 10+ page document, accompanied by a 15-minute presentation.
Business Analytics - Aligning Strategies & Outcomes
This project includes improved data visualization, interpretation and forecasting. Learning with us, the STRATIM platform. Analyzing our current data and determining strengths/weaknesses. Helping to align our data to the 4 major aims and aligning/ standardizing all reports. We hope to be field leaders by developing forecasting tools to support sustainability. The final deliverables for this project will be determined based on your organization's needs in the initial set of meetings with the instructor. The group of student-consultants will spend approximately 120 hours on your project.
