Full Stack Web Development & Design

The main goal for the project is to develop and improve react-based websites. This will involve design work for website UI, frontend and backend web development, using REST APIs to gather data from 3rd party sources, and interacting with databases.We are looking for people who have at least one of the following specialties:Web DesignFrontend codingBackend codingUsing REST APIsDatabasesExamples of projects include:Creating a new corporate websiteCreating new software software products, such as an AI trip planner

Web Development

The main goal for the project is to develop and improve react-based (or Next.js/Astro.js, etc.) webapps. This may involve frontend web development, backend web development, using REST APIs to gather data from 3rd party sources, interacting with cloud databases, and setting-up/modifying authentication and payment systems.We are looking for people who have at least one of the following specialties/interests:Frontend React (or similar) developmentBackend Node.js (or similar) developmentUsing REST APIs to interact with cloud databases (e.g. Supabase)Setting-up/modifying authentication & payment processing (e.g. Stripe)Examples of projects include:Modifying a corporate websiteImplementing new functionality to an existing webapp (auth, database, dashboard of information, etc.)

Website Front End Development

The goal of this project is to create a user-friendly UI with a bold yet human-based design. Using some pre-existing mockups, and some creative thinking, this will be an exciting project for students to be involved in projects such as:A platform used to explore travel destinations and help people plan tripsA new company website with a focus on bold and creative design
