We have a number of websites we need to build for our company. The website can be built on Squarespace or Wordpress.We would like to work with students who are interested in bold design geared towards the music, publishing, and personal development industries. Students should be prepared to:Conduct a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable.Create a design proposal including wireframes or low-fidelity mockups for our company's review.Build a fully-functioning website, with our assistance in providing content and copy.Provide training on updating and maintaining the site.We want to stand out and not fit in, and we believe bold design will help us achieve our goal.

Press Release Creation

We want to be recognized in our community and nationally for the work that we are doing. We have a great story to tell and we want it to be picked up by media outlets. We need students to create press releases for us.Students should be prepared to:Help us refine our story to something compelling and news-worthyWrite up press releases around multiple news-worthy storiesIdentify media outlets that are most beneficial to us/most likely to pick the story up. Send press releases and establish positive rapport with media contactsSecure media exposure for our organization. Interest in the music and publishing industries as well as personal development is a plus.

Podcast Production & Development

We have a Music Industry Podcast that has been running for almost a decade, making it one of the first in the music space. About CompanyAbove the Noise publishes and distributes content in the form of books, podcasts, blogs, and courses.Project ScopeNumber of individual students required: 4 studentsWe are looking for students with excellent audio/podcast editing skills.Our CEO, Aaron, has had a podcast for over a decade making it one of the first in the music space. Aaron interviews renowned experts on life-changing events such as climbing Mount Everest to performing at Wembley Stadium. He dives into how guests built their careers in the entertainment world and what it takes to succeed in business and life.We are currently developing podcasts for clients to distribute to Audible, Spotify, etc., and will involve students in all aspects of the creative process.Students will be provided the raw audio files of the host and guest's side of the conversation. These files will need to be edited to remove unnecessary noise, flow of conversation, and enhance heightened listener engagement. Musical bed tracks will be provided along with intro's and outro's for each episode. Students will receive clear instruction on the podcast format and how to execute the work. Edited files will need to be converted into mastered tracks for upload to the podcast distribution network. Each episodes is up to an hour in length.Besides editing, the student will be required to write blog posts and notes to go with each episode.There is a lot of room for creativity and input. You will work closely with our team and receive lots of support. If you are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.Editing skills and publishing knowledge is a plus.We are also keen to work with students that want to provide recommendations on increasing listenership and sponsorship opportunities.

Animated Product Video Creation

Our company is looking to develop an animated video about our services. We are looking for a group of students to assist us in the script development, storyboard, scene creation, and animation of this video.We envision this project to include but not be limited to:The creation of a fun and engaging 1-3 minute animation about our services and product functionality that is consistent with our brand guidelines and communication strategyThis video will be displayed on our website and shared by emailFinal deliverables should include:A basic video scriptA voice-over recording of the final video scriptVideo background musicA visual storyboardCompleted video scenesIcons for individual scenesA completed animated video with all of the elements aboveA student with interest in the publishing, entertainment, and personal development industries is a plus.
