About Us: Global Citizen Therapy is a mental health company that provides specialized support for womxn of color who are daughters of immigrants. Nancy Diaz, the founder, is a trauma-informed therapist, speaker, and podcast host dedicated to promoting mental well-being and providing valuable resources to those seeking healing and growth. Our practice includes therapy services, speaking engagements, a podcast, YouTube channel, workshops, trainings, and active social media presence. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our team and assist us in various aspects of our work. Position Overview: As a Content and Marketing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with us to help fill our private practice, book speaking engagements, create engaging content for YouTube and our podcast, manage our social media channels, organize and promote workshops, plan and market upcoming events, and assist in running our newsletter. This internship is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fields of mental health, content creation, and digital marketing while contributing to a meaningful mission. Key Responsibilities: Filling Our Private Practice: Write guest blog posts for mental health or wellness websites and include a brief bio with a link to website. Conduct market research to identify potential clients. Support in the creation and execution of online advertising campaigns Send outreach emails and messages for referrals. Booking More Speaking Engagements: Research and compile a list of relevant events and conferences. Assist with outreach and follow-up to event organizers and potential clients. Editing and Publishing Content: Help with video and audio post-production, including editing and captioning. Create visually appealing thumbnails and graphics for YouTube and podcast episodes. Social Media Management: Manage our social media accounts, including content creation and scheduling. Engage with our online community and monitor social media analytics. Workshop Organization and Promotion: Support in logistics, including venue research and registration. Assist in creating promotional materials and managing online registration. Website Editing and SEO: Edit and update website content to ensure accuracy and relevance. Implement SEO strategies to improve the website's search engine ranking. Newsletter Management: Help with newsletter design, content creation, and distribution. Conduct market research and assist in segmenting our newsletter subscribers. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, marketing, communications). Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in video and audio editing tools (for content-related tasks). Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing. A passion for mental health, well-being, and content creation. Mental Health Research and Content Creation

Number of individual students required: 6 We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. Global Citizen Therapy provides quality mental health services and education for multicultural women of color who identify as immigrants or daughters of immigrants. Global Citizen Therapy works with women of different cultural backgrounds who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma (including racial and spiritual trauma), and more. The mission of Global Citizen Therapy is to offer quality education and mental health services to adult daughters of immigrants. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Conduct research on mental health for adult children of immigrants including collecting primary data through surveys but also secondary data through published articles. Students will use the research obtained to do the following: Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics Create educational social media content on mental health for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Assist with the creation and editing of educational videos on Youtube channel. Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story and find opportunities for interviews. Assist with the management of The Global Citizen Therapy Podcast by creating scripts on mental health topics, editing podcast episodes, finding and scheduling interviewees, and creating clips and social media promo posts for each episode. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. A student or team with excellent writing and video skills would be the ideal candidate for this project. No previous experience in podcast management is necessary.

Social Media and SEO

Positions available: 3 We are have 3 positions available: SEO, social media content creation and strategy, and podcast editing. Final Deliverables may include but not limited to: Keyword analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization A strategy document to outline: Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) requirements to ensure our organization appears on the first page of Google for relevant keywords Social media requirements to increase the number of followers/likes and share Content Calendar Execution: Timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site Creating engaging content for prominent media websites Editing website to make it visually appealing and engaging Editing podcast episodes for best sound quality, adding in intro and outro, and creating sound clips from each episode for social media promotion.

Program development and research

I am looking for a team of 5 students to help me with the research and development of the program for first generation college students. I need someone who can do primary research including interviews and focus groups. Another student who can conduct secondary research since it is important we have data to present to potential donors and sponsors. The aim of this program is for it to be accessible to anyone who needs it without it being an additional cost to the student. The third student will be helping with research around similar existing programs around the world and looking at which model will work best for our program. The fourth and fifth student on the team will need to have a bit of knowledge or willingness to learn marketing and the ins and outs of bringing this to life.arch into what will get students and donors excited about this program and willing to join so that more students can graduate.
