We hope to gain a renewed understanding of the features and design that our target market would expect in our website.We would like to collaborate with students to produce a design prototype informed by real customer input and feedback that we can bring to a developer for implementation.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Conducting user interviews and research on our industry, our target market, and desired website features.Designing a wireframe prototype for our website and mapping out user interactions.Documenting the design process and any additional insights that emerge.Testing the prototype with customers and surveying for feedback.Refining design ideas with input from experts and customers.Prototyping multiple versions of a design that includes the desired website features.
UI/UX Improvement for Athabasca District Ag Society Website
The main goal for the project is to improve the user interface and user experience of the Athabasca District Ag Society website to make it look more professional. The main goal for the project is to create a comprehensive marketing plan for the Athabasca District Ag Society that focuses on unpaid marketing reach. This will involve understanding the organization's mission, target audience, and unique selling points, as well as developing strategies to increase visibility and engagement without relying on paid advertising.
Website Development /Updates
We hope to update and revamp our existing website to attract more customers and have a better experience navigating through our site. We would like to work with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. We are currently with Wix. It should also include a financial plan, marketing plan, and operational plan to guide the organization's activities and growth over the specified period.
Video Production for Athabasca District Ag Society
The main goal for the project is to create a vibrant, compelling video that highlights the culture of the Athabasca District Ag Society and encourages applications. The video should set the organization apart and showcase the impact of agriculture in the community.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:- Meeting with representatives from the Athabasca District Ag Society to understand the organization's culture, values, and impact on the community.- Pitching a script for the video that captures the essence of the organization and aligns with their goals.- Obtaining approval for the script and making any necessary revisions.- Scheduling filming sessions and coordinating with the organization to capture relevant footage.- Editing the footage to create a compelling video that encourages applications and showcases the organization's culture.- Creating 30-second promo videos from the full video to be used for marketing purposes.
Policy Update and Conversion Project
The main goal for the project is to update and convert the organization's policies to an editable format. This involves reviewing and drafting new policies, as well as converting existing policies from PDF to an editable format. The project will also involve ensuring that all policies are up to date and compliant with relevant regulations and laws.
Policy Development and Updates for a Non Profit
As our organization grows and evolves, it is important to stay up to date with our policies. We would like to have the student draft up new policies and copy our old policies to editable format (as they are in PDF currently).

Email Marketing Campaign

We hope to revamp our email marketing to attract more customers.We would like to work with students to design a new email marketing campaign for our company.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products, email marketing campaign goals and target market.Identifying types of emails and content that our company should send out such as welcome emails, newsletters, and re-engagement emails.Researching factors affecting the effectiveness of email marketing such as when emails are sent and making recommendations.Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign.Bonus steps in the process would also include:Identifying ways to personalize emails for customers based on market segmentation.

We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that support our mission and vision statement. Helping our Ag Society apply for grants for capital project and events.We believe this project will include:Assist with defining a non profit community problem and defining the scope of a corresponding project.Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding.Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project.Interpret a request for proposal (RFP).Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.
Event Planning - Hillbilly Days
Looking for a student with Event planning experience. We are planning an event in a small community for our Ag Society. It will be a 2 day fair/festival.
Policy Development for Ag Society
We are looking to updates Polices, Terms of Reference (for committee work) and general procedures write up for our Agriculture Society.
Digital Content and Event Planning
We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. Our ag society it looking to have someone manage our social media and help plan an event in June.
