Help Coordinate The Emerging Media Community of Practice

Thaumazo is a nonprofit focused on bringing people together to ideate, create and document projects aimed at the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The Emerging Media Community of Practice (EM CoP) is a University of British Columbia initiative intended to bring together researchers, developers, designers, and educators committed to building a community of practice focused on the development of emerging media technologies for human good. Thaumazo is supporting EM CoP in developing a coordinator role to help build their membership, organize regular meetings of their membership and develop other opportunities for members to share knowledge and ideas, and to collaborate. EM CoP’s work fits under UN SDG 4.4: Quality Education: By 2030, substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship

Brand Identity and Graphic Design - Aid Craft

Thaumazo needs branding and graphic design for our project Aid Craft, A collaboration between Thaumazo, Conversa Corps, Peace Geeks, Pure Point International. Aid Craft seeks to assist grassroots humanitarian organizations form and operate safely, responsibly and effectively, and to foster better collaboration between and with existing humanitarian groups. This will be accomplished by providing active consultancy and online resources for best practices, lessons learned and useful tools and practices This project needs a logo and branding that will help others understand who we are and what we do. We are looking for teams that can help amplify what makes us unique and create better messaging for our brand.

Non-Profit Grant Writing

We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that support our mission and vision statement. We believe this project will include: Reviewing our Nonprofit's mission, approach, proposed and active charitable activities Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project. Assist in writing one or more grant proposals Working with our team to develop a grant proposal calendar suitable for our areas of activity Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.
