Jacqueline Dixon is an incredible mentor who has helped me grow my leadership and project management skills. Throughout my time with Meet the Motivators, I received all the help and support I needed to improve my work. The MTM team is a supportive and positive environment. Starting as a grant writer, I was able to learn the art of proposing and pitching an idea, while sharpening my writing skills. As I moved onto the project management team, I grew skills in organization and event planning. During my 80-hour tenure with Meet The Motivators, I had the distinct privilege of contributing to the Marketing Team. This experience, for which I am deeply grateful, has been incredibly enriching, offering me valuable insights into the dynamic world of social media marketing and content creation. One of the primary responsibilities I undertook was crafting engaging social media posts. This involved creating visually appealing content and ensuring that the message resonated with our target audience. Through this process, I honed my skills in graphic design software and learned to adapt to different platforms' requirements for optimal performance. Research played a crucial role in my tasks, whether brainstorming ideas for social media posts or drafting detailed captions. Each post demanded meticulous attention to detail and required thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance. This project provides me with a precious opportunity to gain more hands-on experiences that align with my career goals. Project participants are engaged in weekly meetings to understand the expectations of each task clearly. The team also provides a lot of guidance throughout the project. Therefore, the students can strengthen their skills.

As a part of the Meet the Motivators marketing team, I've had the opportunity to work for them for the last 80 hours. I coordinated Black History Month and International Women's Day campaigns during this period. It has been a really fulfilling experience that has polished my previous talents while providing me with new tools and views. One of my significant areas of development during this project has been social media management, namely on platforms such as LinkedIn. Learning how to schedule articles and personalize material for diverse audiences efficiently has been critical. This technique has given me a better grasp of how to interact with followers and develop material that significantly impacts them. Another skill I've improved over this endeavour is writing entertaining and meaningful social media posts. From creating visually attractive images to writing thorough and thought-provoking captions, I have learned how to capture the essence of our campaigns and successfully communicate them to our target audience. This required research, creativity, and a thorough knowledge of our brand's narrative and values. Furthermore, working with my team to create effective marketing strategies has been very rewarding. Working together to generate ideas, improve tactics, and carry out plans has not only enhanced our connections as a group. Nonetheless, it has allowed us to complement one another's talents and abilities. This collaborative approach has surely benefited the effectiveness of our efforts. Overall, my 80 hours with Meet the Motivators have been transforming, both emotionally and professionally. My skill set has expanded dramatically as a result of the practical expertise I've received in social media administration, content development, and teamwork. I am glad for the chance to engage in such worthwhile initiatives, and I am excited to implement what I have learned in the future.
