The primary objective of this project is to establish and cultivate a dynamic and engaging presence for the Black Women's Institute for Health on various social media platforms. The project aims to create impactful digital content that effectively blends information, activism, and advocacy. The content should resonate with and educate our audience about the unique health challenges faced by Black women, while also inspiring action and support for the cause.The digital content creator will be solving the challenge of effectively communicating the mission and vision of the Black Women's Institute for Health to a broader audience. The goal is to create content that not only raises awareness about health disparities and issues specific to Black women but also positions the institute as a leading voice and resource in this field.By the end of the project, the successful outcome will be measured by the establishment of a strong social media presence, characterized by a growing and engaged follower base, increased awareness of the institute’s initiatives, and higher levels of interaction and participation from the online community. This digital platform will serve as a critical tool for the institute in disseminating information, rallying support, and fostering a community centered around the health and wellness of Black women.

EmpowerHer Health: Grant Writing for Black Women's Health Initiatives

The primary objective of this project is to identify and secure funding opportunities through meticulous grant writing, enabling the Black Women's Institute for Health to launch and sustain impactful health programs. The grant writer will play a crucial role in our nascent organization, scanning for relevant grants and meticulously crafting applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly contribute to the foundation and growth of our institute. By successfully securing grants, the writer will directly influence the development and implementation of health initiatives tailored to the needs of Black women, thereby making a lasting impact in the realm of public health and wellness.

Communications Strategy for New Organizational Launch

The primary objective of this project is to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for the successful launch of the Black Women's Institute for Health. This strategy will focus on establishing the organization's presence, both online and offline, and effectively communicating its mission, values, and services to the target audience.Learners will be tasked with crafting a multifaceted communications plan that includes public relations, social media engagement, content creation, and community outreach. The outcome expected by the end of the project is a robust and cohesive communications framework that not only raises awareness about the Black Women's Institute for Health but also engages and educates the community about the unique health challenges faced by Black women.This communications strategy will serve as a cornerstone for the organization, creating a strong foundation for future advocacy, education, and community support initiatives. The learners' work will directly contribute to establishing the institute's identity and reputation, engaging stakeholders, and building a supportive network for advancing the health and wellness of Black women.
