CONTACT Community Services is a registered charity that takes a proactive approach to changing social needs in South Simcoe. We are invested in the communities we serve. We are committed to supporting anyone in need, and all services are offered free of charge, are non-judgmental and truly inclusive; recognizing that no two people are alike in their needs and goals. Our community volunteers are our foundation and assist in all service areas. Every year CONTACT assists over 3,500 people in their personal journey to improve their quality of life with the supports necessary to thrive. Below are our key service areas:

EMPLOYMENT SERVICES offer free employment services to both job seekers and businesses. It connects people seeking employment to meaningful job opportunities locally. We provide resume and skills training, interview preparation, and follow-up retention support.

HOUSING SERVICES provides free support services to people who are experiencing, or who are at imminent risk of experiencing homelessness, to help them secure and sustain safe housing. CONTACT is the Housing Resource Centre for the South Simcoe region. We offer Housing First Case Management, as well as Housing Access Services and access to financial subsidies to maintain housing.

VOLUNTEER SERVICES supports and matches people in the community looking to give back and strengthen their skill sets and local organizations that rely on volunteers to make their work possible through an online database.

COMMUNITY SERVICES includes free community information and referrals, seniors programming for those on a low or limited income as well as harm reduction programming.

The COMMUNITY THRIFT STORE, The Clothes Line, provides free and affordable items to South Simcoe’s residents, as well as volunteer opportunities for people from all walks of life.
