As a fast growing company, we have a lot of catch-up on in the back-office side. Our pain areas currently include: IT : Disconnected IT systems (ERPLY for POS/inventory management, Magento for e-commerce, QuickBooks for Accounting, Collage for HR, etc) Franchise Program Launch and due diligence for readiness (legal portion has been done and now we are working on completing operations, training manual, sales process and marketing material) Supply Chain and Catalog Management : With over 1800 SKU's and hundreds of products being launched in market, we would like to review and document our processes for entire supply chain from sourcing, inventory management, to discontinuing products, to clarifying what our core offerings are. Marketing & Brand Consistency : Given the restrictions that will be imposed on our industry soon due to Bill S-5 currently in house, we would like to explore better ways to market to both existing customers and new customers. Majority of our customers are currently one time buyers . Financial Planning, Capital raising & Merger Opps : Currently we are transitioning to planning our budgets etc in detail by department but have a lot of work to do in this area. We would also like to create a proper valuation for our company to be used for raising capital or for potential merger opportunities. Export Opportunities : Given that the Canada has a strong brand, we would like to explore ways to expand our business with little capital, perhaps primarily through export and master franchise. B2B business : Our sales for B2B are extremely low compared to industry. Compared to industry, we get more leads but close less often. This could be due to wrong people running the business or not having a proper offering. Depending on skills of the team, and what they find exciting, we would like to focus on one or more of these areas listed above. Students will provide a final report (length dependent on the individual projects) detailing their findings and actionable recommendations.
