Development of new installation service (FLASH)

We are an appliance repair company looking to expand into the installation and sales division of appliances. We would be competing against large company names such as "The Brick", "Best Buy", "Corbeil", etc. We have already made a couple of first successful steps, we have tested the market, it seems viable and interesting to expand into. We currently have a couple of well trained installers doing inhouse work. We would like to get into the market of mass installations in newly built condo buildings which sometimes can have up to 500 apartments with 5+ appliances. We currently already see a high demand in appliance sales that we are not tapping into when it comes to our current repair customers. For our customers that choose to buy new, rather than following through with the repair, we can satisfy there needs by selling them a new appliance which reduces our risk of getting stuck with a large quantity of stock. We must figure out a proper plan and have backup solutions when something does not work. we must also figure out if it is best to outsource certain work chains or keep it inhouse. Here is a break down of in point form of ideas we must consider - Building a business plan - Figuring out transport and delivery of machines - Developing Relationships with Suppliers or foreign manufactures for purchasing appliances - Figuring out quality and warranty of appliances - Developing Relationships with Investors and Contractors and Developers to bid on jobs - Finding Adequate and cost effective Ware house space to hold supply - See if there are any international relationships we can acquire for purchasing or outsourcing any work. What we currently have - 30'(L) x 35'(W) x 8'(H) empty warehouse space - 12 ft cube truck for transporting appliances (up to 24 appliances) - Qualified Installers that can do any size building project, and we can hire standby helpers if needed - Great office support - Graphic designer and website creator for any marketing needs

Harvesting and Recycling of Machines

Many machines are going to waste for basic problems, which is polluting the planet at a rapid pace. We are trying to develop a system to harvest reusable components in machinery to reduce the waste and turn a profit. We will be creating a system to extract many key components and cataloguing them, refurbishing them and selling them at an economical rate. Our goal is to develop the infrastructure and organization procedures to create a viable system to save the planet one machine at a time and make a profit out of it. We currently have a basic system in place, we need someone that is ready to take the challenge of bringing this project to the next level. The opportunity for the student in enormous, they will acquire many skills during the stage. as listed bellow - Learn to use most industry tools and become an expert on how to use them over time - Learn to create something from nothing by doing research and thinking outside the box - Learning electricity, mechanics, plumbing at an expert level - Learning industry standard components and equipment and safety by feel - learn to organize a team and work efficiently - learning to work with computer systems such as ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint..etc) - learn how business works from the beginning and adapting to any mistakes that are made - learning to work with the sales, marketing and operations team - Learning to build relationships with other companies

Data Organization and KPI's

We have been collecting data from our customers and other aspects of the business for the last couple of years but dont know what the best procedures are to analyze and sort it into kpi's. Our goal would be to find a way to properly extract the data efficiently, read it and apply changes in the company to the findings. Also we would like to see if there is any recommendations for any other data points we should be tracking and how to implement them.
