Yourself Retreats is looking for ambitious students to help us build this company. Founder & CEO Dyani Makous, who has successfully founded and launched an international nonprofit organization for the past twelve years, and ran an aligned social enterprise focused on volunteer retreats is launching a new budding venture in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Dyani is looking for students to work with directly who can help build out a business plan, create a digital marketing strategy, perform market research and recruit clients for a retreat to be held in September. We are looking for students with: Strong written communication skills. Excellent working knowledge of different social media platforms. Knowledge of Design & Video Editing Our goal at the end of this experience is: Marketing Communications - For the students to help us develop effective messaging to effectively recruit clients SEO Strategy & Recommendations - For the students to help us build the website with integrated SEO and generate more traffic and conversions through search engines and be able to provide recommendations for further growth Strategic Social Media Marketing - For the students to help us improve our online presence, reach more relevant potential clientele, build our Instagram account, develop our messaging, and build & effectively promote our brand Other duties the student may complete could include : Assist with outbound email marketing campaigns as needed; measure and report on the performance of these campaigns analyzing insights data Content development, including social media posts, blog posts, LinkedIn articles, and website copy. Fall Virtual Internship: Marketing & Development Coordinator
Our organization is currently offering a virtual internship opportunity for 2-3 marketing students to learn about nonprofit development from home and help provide students with an education. We are looking for 2-3 Marketing and Development Coordinators to lead our team this fall, preferring candidates with: Strong written communication skills. Excellent working knowledge of different social media platforms. Strong relationships with influences in the community. A passion for education, nonprofit development, or Latin America. Between the months of September and January, BPP runs two back-to-back initiatives: our annual Holiday Fundraising Campaign, and Prospecting Internship Program. We are looking for 2-3 strong leaders to work side-by-side with our Executive Director in leading a team of Ambassadors to help us raise money to continue to provide our free, supplementary educational programs at all of our schools for the Holiday Campaign, and a team of grant-writing interns to help us continue to pursue additional funding opportunities. The primary focus for the student will be: Marketing Communications - Create an integrated marketing campaign to promote our annual Spring fundraising campaign, Assist in the development of campaign manifesto and messaging revolving around relevance to current events, establish and develop fundraising platform SEO Strategy & Recommendations - Develop and implement an SEO strategy; provide content suggestions and recommendations to increase search visibility; increase our inbound traffic and optimize the customer journey; increase inbound leads. Strategic Social Media Marketing - Conduct an audit of our current social media presence and/or other current communication channel(s); develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement; create a content calendar; creating useable social media and blog posts. Prospecting Strategy - Evaluate our current funder base and make recommendations for further market penetration; assess our current outreach process and develop and implement targeted prospecting; review our prospect messaging, make improvement recommendations, and create new outreach content. Leadership & Management- Help lead team of Ambassadors in fundraising efforts by organizing weekly meetings, providing content and drafting toolkits; serve as liaison between on-site staff and students ambassadors, assist Prospecting Interns in grant research and lead and plan weekly meetings Our goal at the end of this experience is: Marketing Communications - For the students to help us develop effective messaging to effectively raise funds for our Spring Fundraising Campaign. BPP Ambassador Program
Learn about nonprofit development from home and help provide students with an education! BPP is now recruiting ambassadors for our Spring 2021 Campaign, to work with us for two months, from May 7th – July 7th . Are you self-motivated and interested in learning more about peer-to-peer fundraising with an international nonprofit? Do you have experience working in Latin America or care deeply about education? Build your skills and enhance your resume by becoming an Ambassador with BPP this spring! Barrio Planta Project is a nonprofit organization that provides high-quality education to children with limited resources in Nicaragua and Mexico. We’re committed to educating our students no matter what is going on in the world and are looking for Ambassadors to assist us with our Spring Fundraising Campaign. This is a remote position, with training and weekly meetings held online, and requires a minimum commitment of 10-15 hours/week. We are looking for volunteers who have: Strong written communication skills. Excellent working knowledge of different social media platforms. Strong relationships with influences in the community. A passion for education, development, or Latin America. We are putting together a team of Ambassadors to help us raise money to continue to provide our free, supplementary educational programs at all of our schools. We will help you build your own fundraising page, give you a detailed toolkit, and development professionals will meet with you in small weekly meetings to teach you the basics of online fundraising. With the right team, we know our Fundraising Campaign will be a successThis is a volunteer position, but we do not accept all applicants into the BPP Ambassador program. We will conduct a short interview prior to the campaign. This is an amazing resume-builder and introduction to fundraising for those seeking work in the nonprofit world, or for those who just want to make a difference. Upon success in the volunteer program, ambassadors will receive a certificate of completion from BPP.
