Our company has been serving thousands of customers for decades. We would like to update and revamp our existing slogans to attract more customers.

We would like to collaborate with students to evaluate our existing slogans and their effectiveness in building our brand.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products, target market, mission and vision statements.
• Conducting background research on factors that affect the quality of slogans.
• Developing a set of criteria to evaluate our slogans and justifying the importance of each criterion.
• Evaluating our slogans based on the established criteria.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

• Recommending areas for improvement and revising our existing slogans.
• Recommending new slogans for our company.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Understanding of our company’s products, mission and vision statements
• Consideration for a variety of factors affecting a slogan’s effectiveness
• Development of criteria for slogan evaluation
• Evaluation of our slogans based on the criteria

Bonus steps would include:

• Recommending and implementing changes to our slogans
• Recommending new slogans

Final deliverables should include

• A 10-minute presentation.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our target market, products and services
• Our current slogans and branding
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.

In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with:

• Business branding

Again, students can complete this project without any of the prior knowledge listed here. Students will be expected to research and learn more about the above as the project goes along.
