A particularly talented, bright, and dedicated student will engage with you on a global poverty initiative that you are doing, providing assistance on a specific project or ongoing direct service activity.

Do you need help making sense of your data? Communicating your data? Information visualization is a powerful way to understand and communicate data, and modern visualization techniques can help bridge the gap between organizations and the lay public. Today, information visualization is widely used in media, business, and engineering disciplines to help people analyze and understand the information at hand. The industry has grown rapidly over the last decade, with many commercial and open source visualization tools available.In this project, student teams will apply modern information visualization techniques to effectively analyze, explore, and communicate information relevant to your organizational context. Students will work closely with an internal or external client employing a user-centered design process to determine project goals.Upon completion of the project, you will receive a working interactive visualization, a detailed report and a remote presentation.
