New Product Launch - Financial Forecasting and Planning
Number of students: 1HANGTIME is looking for a financial planning and forecasting wizard to help craft and implement a growth strategy for our upcoming KOALA 2.0 launch. The KOALA 2.0 is an update to the KOALA Super-Grip Smartphone Harness, designed to keep your smartphone safe while playing outdoors (skiing, climbing, boating, etc). The KOALA 2.0 launch is scheduled for September 2021.We need one or more students to:Craft a financial forecast and strategy for a large-scale product launch. The launch will be focused on the Outdoor Industry and our other target audiences. In 2019 we launched the KOALA in Indiegogo and generated over $500K in sales (https://igg.me/at/KOALA-by-HANGTIME). This time with many more resources, we are aiming for a $1M launch. We are considering launching on Indiegogo again, Kickstarter, or perhaps on the HANGTIME website (www.hangtimegear.com).Forecast and track KPIs prior to and during the launch.You will be working directly with the HANGTIME team so strong remote working skills are a must. HANGTIME is a team of 4-5 all of whom work remotely via G-suite and Slack.We’re excited to work with students who can build financial forecasts and models to strategize, measure, and implement a successful product launch. This is a great project for students to prove their financial modeling and forecasting expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated. Number of students: 1-3HANGTIME is looking for a social media marketing wizard (or a team of wizards) to help craft and implement a social media strategy for our upcoming KOALA 2.0 launch. The KOALA 2.0 is an update to the KOALA Super-Grip Smartphone Harness, designed to keep your smartphone safe while playing outdoors (skiing, climbing, boating, etc). The KOALA 2.0 launch is scheduled for September 2021.We need one or more students to:Craft a social media strategy for a large-scale product launch. The launch will be focused on the Outdoor Industry and our other target audiences. In 2019 we launched the KOALA in Indiegogo and generated over $500K in sales (https://igg.me/at/KOALA-by-HANGTIME). This role may evolve into a permanent Social Media Manager position.I key element to the work will be brainstorming, offering creative direction, and ideas to help strengthen and grow HANGTIME's HANGTIME's social media presence. HANGTIME can provide whatever creative assets are needed to support the strategy and creative vision of the team.You will be working directly with the HANGTIME team so strong remote working skills are a must.
