The Starfish Canada is looking for 1 student to help us with creating content in either English or French for our journal that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

The Starfish Canada's Editorial Program is looking for a student that is aiming to improve their writing skills and gain knowledge in sustainability and environmentalism. With the LevelUp Internship program, we have the opportunity to expand our variety of articles and are looking for more in-depth analytical pieces to diversify our audience reach. 

To accomplish this, we expect the student will:

1. Write editorial pieces based on the intersectionality of climate action and social justice.
2. The student will submit 3 articles (600-800 words each).

General Article Ideas with the theme of Climate Action and Social Justice (the writer will choose much more specific topics within these categories and can choose a different focus for each article in the series if they wish):

• Climate Action and LGBTQ+ Pride and Activism
• Climate Action and Mental Health
• Climate Action and Healthcare
• Environmental Racism
• Cross-disciplinary look at climate solutions
• Any other topic that relates to the intersectionality of climate action and social justice

Le programme éditorial de The Starfish Canada est à la recherche d'un.e étudiant.e intéressé.e par l'amélioration de ses compétences rédactionnelles et par l'acquisition de connaissances en matière de durabilité et d'environnement. Avec le programme de stage LevelUp, nous avons l'opportunité de diversifier nos articles et nous cherchons à publier des articles analytiques plus approfondis afin d’élargir notre audience. 

Pour ce faire, nous attendons de l'étudiant.e qu'il/elle

1. Rédige des articles éditoriaux sur l'intersection de l'action climatique et de la justice sociale.
2. Soumet 3 articles (de 600 à 800 mots chacun).

Idées d'articles généraux sur le thème de l'action climatique et de la justice sociale (le·la rédacteur·rice choisira des sujets beaucoup plus spécifiques dans ces catégories et pourra choisir un thème différent pour chaque article de la série s'il le souhaite) :

• Action climatique et fierté et activisme LGBTQ
• Action climatique et santé mentale
• Action climatique et système de soins de santé
• Racisme environnemental
• Regard interdisciplinaire sur les solutions climatiques
• Tout autre sujet lié à l'intersection de l'action climatique et de la justice sociale
