What is the main goal for the project?
We are looking offer a virtual internship opportunity to 1-2 Fundraising or Grant writing students who would like to support a technology platform startup in identifying, creating the strategy for and making applications for sources for investments, loans, grants and wider fundraising activities.
The main goal of this initiative is to create a roadmap for fundraising activities, application timelines and ensure all application materials are documented and in place.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The primary focus/main tasks to work with us together on will be:
1. Grant/Funding Research – Provide research services to the Exavier CFO into eligible grants, fund sources and loan opportunities
2. Application Creation – With support from the CFO, create base applications for grants, loans or investor deck materials documenting the business strategy, value proposition and key financials
3. Fundraising Strategy/Roadmap – Provide recommendations on a fundraising strategy for Exavier, outlining key timelines and a supporting calendar of application deadlines.
Our goal at the end of this experience is that you have partnered with us to:
- Grant/Fundraising Research - Help us gain a better understanding of eligible sources of funds and identify gaps in information required/needing further definition.
- Application Strategy - Help us create a suite of basic materials in support of general applications
- Fundraising Strategy - Help us define/implement a fundraising strategy for the next 12 months.
