The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a desire to work in a fast-paced work environment, as well as an interest in learning about new businesses.
During the time spent with our company an intern will experience:
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Managing fixed assets and calculating deprecation
- Preparing financial statements
- Assisting in GST filling
- Managing inter-company accounts and transactions
- Posting journal and adjusting entries
- Ad-hoc duties as required
An ideal candidate is expected to have:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Quickbooks Online, Quickbooks Desktop, Caseware, Sage 50 and Intuit Profile
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- First rate written and verbal communication skills
Accounting designation and previous experience is always an asset.
Students participating will have the opportunity to gain experience directly from our directors.
