Simon Sinek said it best: "People don't buy what you do; they buy why you do it. And what you do simply proves what you believe." What we believe is that we can do good by doing better. We at Impactrio, a leading consulting firm in Canada for social innovation and social impact management, think we can empower hundreds of small and medium social enterprises in building their impact capacity. That’s why we are launching a new platform, "U Impactify" to support impact consultants support organizations through e-learning, e-facilitation, and e-coaching. If you are looking for an opportunity to use your web design and development skills to support social innovation, this is for you.
As a web design development intern, you will have the opportunity to take this social innovation idea to bring them to life. You will work closely and collaboratively with the project lead to review and refresh an affordable web design and development strategy for existing MVP, build a website/ landing page and corresponding social media presence, and then create an automated CRM/email marketing to monitor marketing performance. It’s a results-only and agile work environment where you will be able to show your entrepreneurial spirit, do what you love, and feel empowered to influence change.
Students should be prepared to:
- Conduct a needs/feature analysis to determine which lead generative website is most suitable.
- Create a design proposal including mock-ups, budget, and timeline.
- Build a fully-functioning website.
- Provide training on updating and maintaining the site.

There will be initial call with the project lead to design and work plan and then bi-weekly check-ins. The project lead is available anytime through email.
