Details

The problem the learner will be solving is to take a premade app icon, which consists of the following; textbook; shopping cart; and graduation hat, and create a more simplistic, fluid, and visually appealing icon, which is also appealing to university students. Additionally, the learner will assist in UX Software development of the icon, and the website, creating a user friendly, attractive, and simplistic website.

Deliverables

The Learner will be tasked with designing a minimalistic app icon, with whatever tools they deem necessary. The logo is to include, but is not limited to, the following items: Graduation cap; shopping cart; and textbook(?). The colour of the app icon is to be left to the discretion of the graphic designer. The learner will also shadow a UI-UX software developer, and assist them with the graphic design portion of the software development

Mentorship

Dedicated Mentors: Each learner will be assigned a dedicated mentor who will provide guidance and support throughout the project. These mentors will be experts in the relevant fields and will offer regular feedback, one-on-one sessions, and group discussions to address any challenges learners may face.

Regular Check-ins: Scheduled weekly check-ins with mentors to monitor progress, provide feedback, and help troubleshoot any issues.

Office Hours: Additional office hours will be available for learners to seek assistance from other staff members as needed.
