Our company provides virtual therapy face to face in one province and online in another. We hope to revamp our marketing strategy to attract more clients.

We want students to help us build a marketing plan to grow and engage our target market in two provinces. PEI has been very closed as we are "from away" and Ontario has lots of competition. .

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our current marketing goals and strategies.
  • Researching how customers perceive our brand and marketing- we have face to face service in PEI and virtual service in Ontario
  • Recommending new channels we should use for promotion .
  • Identifying an appropriate budget for advertising.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Recommending updates to our messaging that can better explain our value proposition
  • web site recommendations
  • evaluation of the benefit or other socials such as TIC TOC or Instagram
  • identifying how we could attract clients of various ages
  • help us leverage our sister agency Maritime Play Therapy Centre



Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should:

  • list our marketing goals and strategies
  • explain clients perceptions of our brand/ service
  • Recommendations for new promotion channels
  • Identification of an advertising budget
  • identification of how to leverage our sister agency in supporting Changing Steps

Bonus steps would include:

  • Updating our messaging

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our products and services
  • Our current marketing strategies and marketing plan
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
  • students can have access to files, web site, interview past placement students who have provided psychotherapy online
  • we can help students organize focus groups

This company provides face to face service in PEI and Virtual service in Ontario. We provide therapy to individuals across the lifespan.
Virtual therapy has blown up since Covid. There are agencies that no longer have bricks and mortar offices.
I would like to expand the virtual offices in Ontario. I have a sister agency Maritime Play Therapy Centre that operates in NS and provides training to therapists as well as service provision.
