What is the main goal for this project?

We are looking for driven students with a passion for social media and entrepreneurship to help lead our internal social media revamp and identify opportunities for growth.


The primary goals of the project are:

  • Conduct an audit of our current social media platforms to assess strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop strategies to enhance our online presence and increase engagement on our social platforms
  • Identify best practices and tactics to effectively reach our desired target audience
  • Create a comprehensive 3-month social media content calendar to ensure consistent and engaging content
  • Generate example social media posts to showcase the proposed content and messaging strategies
  • Compile a detailed report that highlights discoveries, insights, recommended solutions, and an action plan for implementation
  • Prepare a short presentation that delivers actionable recommendations for enhancing the organization's social media strategy
  • Deliver a package of draft social media pieces and the 3-month social media content calendar to facilitate implementation and execution
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should complete the following:

  • Conduct an audit of our current social media platforms
  • Develop strategies for improving our online presence
  • Develop strategies for increasing engagement on our social platforms
  • Identify best practices to reach our desired target audience
  • Develop a 3-month social media content calendar
  • Create example social media posts


Final deliverables should include:

  • A report detailing the discoveries made, any insights/recommended solutions, and an action plan
  • A short presentation with actionable recommendations for your organization's social media strategy
  • A package of draft social media pieces and the 3-month social media content calendar
