The primary goals of the project are:
- Conduct an audit of our current social media platforms to assess strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Develop strategies to enhance our online presence and increase engagement on our social platforms
- Identify best practices and tactics to effectively reach our desired target audience
- Create a comprehensive 3-month social media content calendar to ensure consistent and engaging content
- Generate example social media posts to showcase the proposed content and messaging strategies
- Compile a detailed report that highlights discoveries, insights, recommended solutions, and an action plan for implementation
- Prepare a short presentation that delivers actionable recommendations for enhancing the organization's social media strategy
- Deliver a package of draft social media pieces and the 3-month social media content calendar to facilitate implementation and execution
By the end of the project, students should complete the following:
- Conduct an audit of our current social media platforms
- Develop strategies for improving our online presence
- Develop strategies for increasing engagement on our social platforms
- Identify best practices to reach our desired target audience
- Develop a 3-month social media content calendar
- Create example social media posts
Final deliverables should include:
- A report detailing the discoveries made, any insights/recommended solutions, and an action plan
- A short presentation with actionable recommendations for your organization's social media strategy
- A package of draft social media pieces and the 3-month social media content calendar
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- Our current services and social media marketing
- Our ideal clients and industry insights
- Input on choices, problems, or anything else the students might encounter
