blog posts tiktok social media search engine optimization creativity public relationsWe are seeking PR publicity to make Mangata more common knowledge, to demonstrate success in order to gain customer confidence as we are new and emerging health and wellness brand. Although, Health Canada limits what we claim about our products are we technically are "cosmetic"/skincare. But the benefits of the herbs in our products are more natural health product.
Our hope is to generate more attention to our store as we are working on SEO, social media, Tiktok reels, and word of mouth. These are easily done by the owner but we need help with PR.
Our ideas (some we are implementing):
-applying for pitch competitions, publicity campaigns, grants
-use of HARO website to reply and pitch to reporters
-direct pitching to newscasters, relevant magazines
-following and commenting on public social platforms of influential people/companies
- sending our blog posts to bloggers for use with links back to our website
-collaborations in order to gain followers/emails
-accumulate leads/lists for Stefanie to follow up on
-use Mangata email to directly pitch to newscasts, magazines, HARO reporters, bloggers, etc
-use creativity to draw attention to Mangata
-search for relevant grants, pitch competitions, magazines looking for features/applicants which generate income and attention
-PR is not Stefanie's strong suite so she expects the student to have prior knowledge and to utilize skills to do the work under Stefanie's guidance.
I am available via zoom, text, or calls at reasonable amounts (I also work).
Weekly check ins are encouraged.
About the company
All health products are nature based, cruelty free beauty products, made in small batches. Mangata is a small business, making $1-3000/mth. We have the capacity to grow and the resources but don't have time to do the research (Stefanie is a stay-at-home mom). We are seeking to partner with a student who has expertise in digital marketing to see our ecommerce business generate more attention, revenue, and ultimately take off.
