The main goal of this internship as a Fundraiser Director is to provide students with practical experience in fundraising, enabling them to contribute to the financial sustainability of an organization. The internship aims to develop their skills in fundraising strategy development, donor cultivation, campaign execution, and data analysis while supporting the organization's fundraising efforts and building relationships with donors.

Deliverables
  1. Fundraising strategy development: Assist in the development of fundraising strategies and plans, including setting goals, identifying target donors or donor segments, and formulating strategies to engage and solicit contributions.
  2. Donor research and cultivation: Conduct research on potential donors, foundations, or corporate sponsors. Assist in building relationships with donors through personalized communications, outreach efforts, and cultivation activities.
  3. Fundraising campaigns: Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising campaigns or initiatives. This may involve creating campaign materials, coordinating fundraising events, managing online fundraising platforms, and tracking campaign progress.
Mentorship

Students will work closely with CEO, Mark Carter who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
