The main goal of this project is to gain insight into how other military sites have expanded their market audience beyond their traditional clientele.

Deliverables

The student will do internet research, including journal research (museum sector journals) to researching how other military sites have used social media and public engagement to expand beyond traditional audiences. The student will translate these concepts into a cogent first chapter of a marketing plan that will constitute the plan's background section.

Mentorship

Students will have access to university library system and support from university staff trained in public history marketing.
